Rachel believes that everyone should have access to the highest quality of music education. She has put this into practice throughout her career, particularly in her work with charity Music Masters. Rachel is a lead cello teacher at Music Masters, providing joyful and creative group cello and musicianship lessons for children in London primary schools. She works with children with a wide range of needs, and a particular highlight of her week is leading participatory music sessions with children in an SEND setting. Prior to her work at Music Masters Rachel has taught in a number of independent schools including Oxford High School.

Rachel also teaches privately, and maintains a busy studio from her home in Sydenham, South East London. She teaches a range of students from young children to adults, and from beginner to post-diploma level. Although most of her lessons are 1-to-1 she is open to paired or small group lessons where appropriate. In addition to the cello, she offers lessons in musicianship, music theory and harmony. Lessons are currently available either in Sydenham or online.
